Cordless power tools

When heavy duty lithium battery packs and brushless DC motors were first combined, no one would have guessed the impact they would have on cordless power tools. Yet today cordless power tools continue to replace a whole range of mains-powered consumer and professional tools. While 12-24 V systems are still common, more and more manufacturers are switching to more powerful 36 V or 48 V systems.
